About Us

Joanna is the owner of Medical Nutrition Therapy Associates of Colorado and an Advanced Practice Registered Dietitian. She completed her Masters at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) before returning to Colorado.  She is Board Certified in Nutrition Support (CNSC) and Sport Dietetics (CSSD).  

She has worked at Children's Hospital Colorado in inherited metabolic diseases, UC Health in oncology, internationally with the country of Laos and U.S. Pacific Aid Command and Army Corp of Engineers, and as faculty at two universities. 

Joanna takes most insurance plans and can see patients virtually or in person. 

Dr. Bolton received a PhD from Colorado State University in Nutrition specializing in Maternal and Child Nutrition. She is a faculty member in the Graduate Program at MSU Denver. Dr. Bolton is a breastfeeding expert and IBCLC. She has worked as a Pregnancy and Pediatric Dietitian for 25 years.  In addition, Dr. Bolton has added nutrition counseling for peri-menopause and menopause to her practice this year. Dr. Bolton takes most insurance plans and can see patients in person or virtually.

Staci is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition-Dietetics. She has a clinical background in oncology and specializes in women’s health, including PCOS and gestational diabetes. She also works with patients managing diabetes, chronic kidney disease, weight management and GLP-1 medications, as well as active adults interested in sports nutrition.

Staci has experience providing nutrition care for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, as well as those requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition. Her approach is individualized and practical, with an emphasis on helping patients make nutrition changes that are realistic and sustainable.

Staci practices at the Denver location and accepts most major insurance plans and sees patients both virtually and in person.
